JCMG’s Family Medicine Clinic is looking for a compassionate nurse (LPN) to join the team. $2500 sign on bonus. $1000 would be distributed at 90 days and the remaining at 6 months.
This is a full-time position with full benefits, including insurance, 148 PTO hours per year, 56 hours of paid Holidays per year, including the day after Thanksgiving, and an Employee Retirement Plan (401K) with employer match. Tuition reimbursement and a grow our own Medical Assistant Program.
Normal working hours are Monday- Friday 8-5

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting with rooming of patients, assisting with examinations and procedures as needed.
Answer telephone calls, calling patients with results, scheduling testing and appointments as needed.
Assists the physician and/or nurse to provide physical care for the patient before, during, and after examinations and procedures.
Participates in educational experiences designed to maintain competence.
Uses facility communication systems correctly.
Performs routine clerical activities required for efficient operation of the ambulatory clinic.
Assures the efficient and effective functioning of clinic processes.
Ensures efficient customer friendly telephone communication.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Prefer one year in an acute care setting and prefer an additional year in ambulatory care.
Certification/License:
Licensure as a Practical Nurse in the State of Missouri in good standing
Basic Cardiac Life Support Certified
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Basic computer skills
