Requirements:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Connecticut license
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing services to students based on individual health care plans
- Participate in planning and placement team meetings, write goals and objectives for students' IEPs, and communicate with health providers.
- Occasionally ride the bus with assigned students.
- Maintain nursing notes and records.
- Provide timely reports as requested, submit Medicaid documentation, and comply with State Department of Social Services regulations and other relevant laws.
- Provide in-service professional development and relevant nursing materials to the school staff and parents when requested.
- Any other duties as assigned.
