Our client in the greater Columbus, OH area is seeking to add LPN's to their team for a contract-to-permanent opportunity!

Pay Information: The anticipated wage for this position is between $20 and $25. Hourly wage will depend upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5pm; no OT or weekends required
As an LPN in this role you will:
- Maintain the general appearance and cleanliness of exam rooms
- Maintain timely flow of patients
- Greet patients and prepares them for physician examination. Takes and documents patient histories including medications and drug allergies, height, weight, blood pressure, and pulse
- Assist physicians with procedures and collection of specimens
- Perform post void residual urine test (PVR) exams, draws blood, collects urine samples, performs office lab procedures and documents results, and coordinates all specimen requests and reports to and from various laboratories. Pull charts for lab reports to be reviewed and signed by physicians
- Clean and sterilize equipment. Performs quality control measures and documentation. Prepares and replenishes supplies. Maintains inventory
- Instruct patient regarding preparation for tests. Provide information and pamphlets
- Request and assist with formal consent when required
- Receive and organize the handling of medication samples, checks expiration dates and disposes outdated medications accordingly
- Dispose of contaminated and disposable items
- Mail normal PSA result and annual exam reminder cards
- Attend required meetings
- Participate in professional development activities
- Maintain strictest confidentiality
- Phone Triage:
- Answer phones, forward call to appropriate physician
- Schedule appointments
- Call results to patient after physician reviews them
- Screen patient calls for physicians
- Take care of emergent calls
- Take careful note of others and forwarding information to the physician
- Call in medication prescriptions to patient pharmacy as directed by physician
- Give limited medical advice over the phone and documenting the call and the advice given
- Answer phones, forward call to appropriate physician
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education Requirements
- Completion of an LPN Program
Experience
- 1+ years' experience working in field
Other Details:
- This is a contract-to-permanent role, eligibility to convert to full-time employee with client after 90 day probationary period
- Must be comfortable working in a fast paced work environment
- Must be open to a procedure based environment and have the willingness to learn

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
