Earn $24.04/hour + $7,500 yearly mileage stipend
Position Details
LPN are an essential part of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. The multidisciplinary team provides evidenced based services to members diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness within the greater Thibodaux region. Nursing staff are required to perform annual nursing assessments, provide medication education and management, complete vitals and follow orders of the ACT Team prescriber. Coordination of care with medical providers is an essential duty of our nursing staff. Nurses must maintain thorough clinical documentation in relation to progress notes, vitals, assessments, coordination of care, injection logs, physician orders, and lab orders. Nursing staff also assist with crisis intervention and support. Nursing staff should be comfortable with administering long acting injections and monitoring consumers for developing health issues.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- LPN with a minimum of two (2) years current nursing experience in mental health is preferred.
- A current Louisiana Nursing License
- Behavioral Health experience preferred.
- A genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.
- In addition, a current and valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
