Job Details:
- Performs patient care and administrative duties for outpatients following established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
- Assists with patient check-ins and vital signs for Flight Medicine providers during SHPE appointments.
- Ensures completion of all patient requirements (audiogram, labs, etc.) prior to SHPE appointments.
- Prepares and conducts briefings as directed by leadership.
- Communicates effectively with all providers in the 27 Special Operations Medical Group.
Job Requirements:
- Must possess relevant nursing degree/education.
- Required certifications include Basic Life Support; additional certifications may apply.
- Experience in conducting paraprofessional portions of physical examinations or assisting in medical treatment within the LVN scope of practice. At least 12 months of hands-on patient care in the outpatient clinical setting within the past 24 months required.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Valid nursing licensure or registration.
