Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Education Requirements and Position Qualifications:

1. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
2. Current LPN licensure appropriate to the state of practice.
3. Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed.
4. Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
5. Employee must successfully pass the Ishihara’s Color Blind Test.
6. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Responsibilities and Physical Demands:

1. Provides prescribed medical treatment and dialysis treatment to the clients of the unit.
2. Renders highly professional and technical nursing care to the dialysis patients.
3. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
4. Acts as Team Lead, when necessary, in work assignment.
5. Collaborates with the physicians and the multidisciplinary team members to achieve the highest standards of care specific to age/developmental status of the patient.
6. Ensures a secure and safe patient environment by following safety policies, procedures and standards of care.
7. This position requires frequent and prolonged periods of standing and bending.
