Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors to provide high-quality care to patients. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient health, administering medication, and assisting with medical procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:

• Valid and current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• CPR certification
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain composure in stressful situations
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established healthcare protocols and standards.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care, catheter changes, and specimen collection.
• Collaborate with registered nurses and doctors to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and self-care techniques.
• Document patient health information, including medical history and ongoing treatment.
• Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to all relevant safety and infection control protocols.
