Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Responsibilities
- Make rounds to observe residents and nursingcare
- Review and integrate the Nursing Care Plan toreflect physical emotional, restorative, rehabilitative, teaching, and goalswith the medical care prescribed
- Provide proper transcription and execution ofphysical orders
- Utilize the capabilities of staff members toprovide quality resident care
- Order medication and supplies for the nursingunit and residents
- Control the counting and recording ofmedications
- Maintain proper and accurate documentation andmaintenance of clinical records
- Cooperate and communicate withinter-departmental and facility personnel to nursing services are beingadequately maintained
- Meet with other nursing personnel to assist inidentifying and correcting problem areas, and/or improvement of services
- Provide direct patient care when needed
Requirements
- Valid NYS LPN license
- Exceptional communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
- Previousexperience in long-term care
- Previous experiencewith Point Click Care
