This is Leslie, a recruiter with Healthcare Support. I just wanted to reach out to you about our hiring for Licensed Pharmacy Tech - Fulfillment in Overland Park KS
Payrate: $22/hour
Contract: 01/23/2023 to 12/30/2023
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm
Holidays: We are open every holiday except Thanksgiving and Christmas. We have a split schedule for Memorial and Labor day and then for the 4th of July and Black Friday which for second shift is Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Normally is it 8am to 4:30pm
*There is no time off through the Holidays except on the day of the Holiday. We do not take New Year’s day off either
Start Date: Jan 2nd or 3rd, or after that ASAP*will go perm for the right candidates. They have perm openings and will convert temps based on attendance / performance
Dress Code: Jeans and appropriate shirt or uniform shirt that we provide. Scrubs are also acceptable
Summary: Processing and shipping medications to patients. Counting drugs, labeling drugs, and inventory duties. No patient facing activities

Primary Responsibilities:
Dispense any or all of the following: tablets/capsules, unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures
Process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drug, related supplies and patient collateral (education materials) are included
Perform drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product, monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment, fill dispensing units
Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Tech License in Kansas *state requires techs to be registered in KS and cannot only have national cert
High School Diploma or GED
Previous Pharmacy Technician experience in a retail setting or mail order pharmacy
Comfortable working in warehouse environment
Ability to stand for the full shift
Standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs
This is a physical position - NOT a desk job. You will be on your feet, lifting boxes, and moving around a lot
• Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system application
