Description:
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide support and feedback for Kindergarten-6th grade students & their parent learning coaches who are learning in a home-centered environment. Teachers work in partnership with parent learning coaches to help families successfully school their children. Teachers will use a variety of online tools to support and communicate with students and parents. They will also collaborate both synchronously and asynchronously with fellow faculty. All applicants must live in one of the following Braintree work states in order to be considered for the position: AZ, ID, IN, ND, OK, TN, UT, WY
OTHER REQUIREMENTS FOR EMPLOYMENT:
- Teachers should attend PLC meetings live each month.
- Stay under 20 hours on average each week.
- Follow all FERPA rules & regulations
- Represent TTA & IHLA in a positive manner on social media and within faculty/department meetings
- Bring concerns to PLC mentors or administrators
- Duties as assigned by TTA
- Lives in the State of Oklahoma and/or has a current Oklahoma Elementary Ed. License

Responsibilities:
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Grading student assessments, and providing constructive individualized feedback.
- Support struggling students,
- Hold a weekly office hour
- Participate in monthly All Staff and Professional Learning Community meetings.
- Complete required professional development plans
- Adhere to the Tech Trep Academy Employee Handbook
DAILY TASKS
- Check Google Calendar for any relevant meetings
- Check & respond to communications (emails, phone calls, texts) within 24 hours, excluding weekends or holidays
WEEKLY TASKS:
- Read & Act on Weekly Teacher Update
- Hold a weekly Office Hour for students/families
- Grade Semester Learning plans within 7 days of the due date (each Semester)
- Grade Assessment submissions within 10 days of the due date (bi-weekly)
MONTHLY TASKS:
- Review Training classes or opportunities
- Record an office hour or create teaching videos to present an Office hour (these can be used for teaching resources in your class as well as for teacher evaluations)
- Attend PLC & All Staff Faculty meetings
