Since 2021, Eminence Home Care is a leading provider of home care services in New Hampshire. We are seeking a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team of dedicated and compassionate caregivers. As an LNA, you will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide hands-on care to clients in their home. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.
What you'll be doing- Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor clients' wellbeing and report any changes to the director immediately.
- Assist clients with mobility, such as transferring and ambulation.
- Provide medication reminders and assist as needed.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Document all patient care activities in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation and running errands.
Requirements
- Possess and maintain a valid Nursing Assistant License in the State of NH.
- Satisfactorily pass a BEAS and Criminal Background Check.
- Obtain medical clearance from a provider stating you have no work restrictions.
- Obtain a negative TB test.
- Provide 2 professional references.
- Must have reliable transportation to travel to client homes and run errands when required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to speak, write, and read English.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

A good LNA is a compassionate, supportive and well-rounded individual. Maintaining reliability and accountability is vital. As a home care worker, there is a great deal of independence in your day-to-day operations and this comes with the responsibility to promptly report any changes in status of your clients, to always arrive on time, and to communicate any anticipated changes in your schedule. These traits are imperative to provide the necessary support and comfort to recovering, disabled or frail clients. Being dependable and having a kind heart is necessary to be successful in this position.
