We are seeking a skilled and talented Nail Technician to join our team. As a Nail Technician, you will provide professional nail care services to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and enhancing their overall experience at our salon. Responsibilities:
- Perform manicures and pedicures, including nail shaping, cuticle care, and polish application
- Apply gel and acrylic nails, as well as nail extensions
- Provide nail art designs and enhancements based on client preferences
- Offer eyelash extensions and esthetic laser treatments
- Educate clients on proper nail care techniques and recommend appropriate products
- Upsell retail products to clients to enhance their at-home nail care routine
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, following all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques in nail care, including color theory and new product developments
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth salon operations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of nail care techniques, including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylic nails, and nail extensions
- Proficiency in eyelash extensions and esthetic laser treatments
- Ability to perform hair styling is a plus
- Familiarity with color theory for creating beautiful nail art designs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Strong sales skills for upselling retail products
- Knowledge of cosmetology practices and techniques
- Understanding of proper sanitation procedures for maintaining a clean work environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced salon setting
