Licensed Nail Technician

Sugar Pop is Salt Lake City’s premier nail salon specializing in modern and stylish nail art. Located in the Granary Row District of SLC, Sugar Pop helps customers bring their nail visions to life! Our Nail Technicians specialize in manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and gel-x extensions. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming and stylish atmosphere and love helping our clients transform their nails into a work of art!

Successful Nail Technician candidates will have a passion for helping bring the visions of others to life and will enjoy interacting with a variety of customers. Candidates should possess a friendly personality and enjoy working both independently and within a team.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to a wide variety of clients

• Build positive rapport with clients using excellent verbal and written communication

• Become proficient in traditional, gel, and gel-x extension nail applications

• Install, fill, and remove nail sets as required

• Create unique nail art designs based on the direction of clients and routinely meet and exceed client expectations

• Address client questions in a friendly and enthusiastic manner

• Independently operate online scheduling software to ensure clients are accurately scheduled

• Collect client payment using payment software

• Assist with other salon duties as necessary

Who You Are:

• Holds a valid Utah Esthetics or Cosmetology license (Required)

• Has at least one (1) year of Nail Technician experience (Required)

• Motivated and self-starter attitude

• Enthusiastic and upbeat personality

• Enjoys interacting with and serving a diverse group of individuals

• Ability to work both independently and within a team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Able to effectively turn the visions of others into something special!

Requirements:

• Valid Utah Nail Technician, Esthetician or Cosmetology license

• One (1) year of experience

• Available to work on Saturday or Sunday

Pay: Up to $28.28 per hour
