Job Description
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Mental Health setting
- Licensed in the states of Florida and New York (a plus)
- Be able to maintain a caseload of clients.
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, family.
- Knowledge and use of evidence-based approaches and crisis interventions
- Follow a code of ethics and a good understanding of clinical diagnosis, and interventions.
- Flexibility with virtual and in-person therapy.
- Must have at least one of the following licenses
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is a plus
- Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) is a plus
- Familiarity with the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of the effects of drugs prescribed by medical specialists.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature.
- Available 8-10 hours/week, per diem 1099.
- Primarily completing comprehensive initial diagnostic evaluation for children and adults
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling.
- Conduct intake assessments for outpatient clinics.
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy.
- Obtain collateral information regarding patients.
- Complete forms and paperwork related to patient care.
- Must be willing to be a panel on various insurance; preference will be given to those already credentialed.
- Provides timely feedback regarding care, treatment recommendations, and progress of patients.
- Completes all paperwork and electronic medical record (EMR) entries associated with the assessment.
- Have an interest in working with student
- Developed and led group therapy
