SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Behavioral Health Director, the LMFT works as part of a mental health care team to provide high quality care to a diverse patient population, to fulfill the following responsibilities in a high volume, multi-specialty practice in a Federally Qualified Health Center:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with adults, children and their families.
- Provide comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment for clients.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence based psychotherapy interventions, and case management as needed.
- Likes collaborating and communicating with a multidisciplinary treatment team; and makes referrals as needed.
- Demonstrate empathy to work with adults, children/families under stress.
- Perform short term counseling and crisis intervention as necessary.
- Participate in weekly staff meeting and appropriate supervision and consultation.
- Assume other responsibilities as directed.
