Are you a Licensed Land Surveyor looking for a new challenge or a fresh perspective in the workplace? If so, we want to meet you! The Crossroads Group, LLC is growing and has a current opening for a Professional Land Surveyor position to calculate property boundaries, review ALTA plans and title certifications, as well as assist with Right Of Way plans. TCG's Land Surveying department specializes in site construction stakeout, boundary, and topographic surveys, ALTA/ACSM surveys and Telecom (towers and small cell ROW) with a service range that extends throughout all of Pennsylvania.
Qualifications:
- PA Professional Land Surveyor (P.L.S.) License.
- Additional State Survey Licenses a benefit
- Comprehensive understanding and expertise of Land Surveying practices including (but not limited to) ALTA/ACSM Survey, Boundary and Topographic surveys, right-of-way determinations, construction layout services, FAA certifications, etc.
- 10+ years of continual and diverse surveying experience.
- Thorough understanding of survey equipment (robotic/total station/GPS) as well as capacity to adapt and learn new technologies and software.
- Drone Survey Equipment experience a benefit
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Survey Pro software.
- Strong communication skills (listening, writing and verbal)
- AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
- Ability to work
- Valid PA driver's license and acceptable record.
- Ability to pass background check and drug testing to gain access to various sites
- Review and prepare survey scopes for field crews to direct them on what data needs to be collected for boundary surveys.
- Receive and review survey field work to calculate boundary right of way lines.
- Receive and respond to new project or scope of service requests from TCG management and/or potential clients directly.
- Mentor and train qualified survey staff to pursue licensing and expand professional expertise
