Job Description
As an experienced Licensed Journeyman Plumber with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support Commercial, Industrial, &/or Residential Projects (Schools, Hospitals, Multi-Family, Hotels, etc.) in the Greater Fort Worth, TX areas. They are seeking plumbers to efficiently undertake various plumbing tasks with 5+ years’ experience installing all site work including underground utilities, rough-in, and top-out.
Responsibilities:
- Review blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the plumbing, waste disposal, and water supply system layouts.
- Measure, Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
- Build, install, and maintain water supply systems in new structures
- Build & Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning DWV systems
- Install new fixtures or replace faulty fixtures (warranty work
- Maintain service calls, Locate & repair issues with water supply or drain lines (e.g. leaks) (if needed)
- Perform braising, soldering, and welding as necessary to connect different types of plumbing systems
- Follow all Federal, State, and Local regulatory Safety and trade-specific regulations & best practices
- Complete assigned tasks as defined in Drawings, Plans, & as-built specifications provided by management teams.
Qualifications
• Current/active Texas Plumbing Apprentice & Journeyman License
• Osha 10, Heavy Equipment, or Med Gas Certification may be a Plus based on various assignments.
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers, etc.)
• Ability to understand heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
• Ability to understand water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
