Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Perform electrical work according to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Install and maintain low voltage systems, including lighting, security systems, and fire alarms
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete electrical tasks
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as a commercial or industrial electrician
- Strong knowledge of the NEC and other electrical codes and regulations
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting electrical schematics
- Familiarity with logic controllers and other advanced electrical systems
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, climbing, or standing for extended periods of time
