Licensed Insurance Sales Representative

All Applicants must have an active Property and Casualty license to be considered .

Ferguson Insurance is looking to expand our winning team in Oak Park, Michigan. We are willing to train the right individual.

This opportunity is not an employment opportunity directly with AAA-The auto club group but rather employment with the Ferguson Insurance Agency who is an independent contractor that has been serving the surrounding communities since 2014 and has hiring opportunities for agents at multiple locations and have opportunity for advancement.

We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, person with a desire to make a difference in people's lives. As an Authorized Agent, you will be part of a team that is helping to grow the revenue of the office by offering insurance products that people need for their security and peace of mind. Our newest authorized agent will pursue and respond to the request and needs of new prospects and current clients who need insurance. As an authorized agent, you will be trained to serve as a consultant for families, evaluating needs and recommending the most appropriate means of meeting those needs. You will be challenged to drive new business with competitive products and help retain AAA members.

Annual Base Salary Based on Experience

Base Salary will vary based on experience and Commissionsbased on performance.

Professional Work Environment/ hands on training

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
• Maintain knowledge of new products.

• Property & Casualty insurance license is a requirement to be to be considered for the position.
• Previous work experience in sales, marketing, customer service or telemarketing.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Excellent communication, spelling and Grammar skills.
• Great Customer Service Skills.
