Licensed Dental Assistant

```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform patient assessments and record medical histories
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment in the dental office
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records using dental software (Eaglesoft)
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed

```Skills```
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for creating dental prosthetics
- Ability to perform patient assessments and record accurate medical histories
- Experience with taking and developing dental x-rays
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with dental software, such as Open Dental, for scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Understanding of medical imaging techniques used in dentistry
- Knowledge of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment in the dental office
- Strong anatomy knowledge to assist the dentist during procedures
- Familiarity with medical coding for insurance billing purposes

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 28 per week
