Form of workMaximus has immediate openings for Psychiatric Nurses (RNs), Licensed Independent Social Workers (LISWs) or Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs).
This opportunity is part-time contract work, mental health professionals will administer Level II PASRR assessments and are compensated for each completed assessment. We are offering a wonderful opportunity to earn extra money, set your own schedule while providing a valuable service to the adult citizens of Iowa. This contract does require a face-to-face assessment which generally takes place in a nursing facility or hospital.
We are seeking individuals in the following counties: Brown County, Owen, Rush, Fayette, Union Decatur, Martin, and Orange.
RN and Mental Health Counselor Responsibilities/ Duties/ Expectations:
- This position will administer Level II PASRR assessments and are compensated for each completed assessment.
- Must have flexibility to complete assessments within 48 hours.
RN and Mental Health Counselor Qualifications/Requirements:
- 2 years’ clinical behavioral health experience working with adults and/or working with individuals with an ID/DD
- Windows PC is required to complete assessments.
- Conflict of Interest would include currently employed by Nursing Facilities, State Psychiatric Hospitals, MCOs (Amerigroup, Amerihealth, Caritas, United Healthcare), and the State of Indiana may be a COI.
MAXIMUS is a leader in providing specialized assessment services and is partnered with the State of Indiana to administer PASRR (Pre-admission Screening and Resident Review) assessments.
PASRR is a federal requirement designed to ensure that individuals are not inappropriately placed into nursing homes for long term care services.
