Since our inception, A Wiser Mind has focused on providing the best behavioral care for our clients. We’ve focused on bringing innovative and compassionate care while lowing the barriers-of-care for our aging population.
We are looking for licensed professionals to help us continue our quest for better care. We need licensed therapists who can provide teletherapy and in-person mental-health services to adult individuals--eighteen and older--with mild-to-moderate emotional challenges as well as older adults living with the challenges of cognitive decline.
Successful candidates will work in collaboration with our Clinical Director and referral sources in providing integrated and focused quality health care services. This work includes psycho-social services designed to improve or maintain adult clients’ emotional stability and functional capacity, which may present concurrent with a loss of independence or a decline in health.
Our program is mobile in nature and often takes us to wherever the client calls home--assisted living and private residences. To accomplish this, we fashion a local territory for each therapist, usually located near their home or in a location of their choice.
We also provide teletherapy services and seek applicants interested and willing to provide teletherapy encounters. This posting is for a teletherapy only position. Work entirely from home.
To be successful, our therapists need to be capable of self-scheduling, conducting initial and ongoing evaluations, delivering individually-focused therapies, encouraging family communication; and producing timely, high-quality clinical documentation of client interactions.
POSITION SPECIFICS:
Position: Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Available Work Hours: Position starts as part-time (10 - 15 hours), and can increase as encounters become available.
Location: For teletherapy services. This position is virtual. Live anywhere in Arizona that supports reliable high speed internet.
Please note: If you are not already credentialed, we will work with you to get you credentialed with Medicare and the major insurance carriers at no cost to you.
EMPLOYMENT BONUS OPPORTUNITIES:
Location Bonus
We are offering a $2,000.00 hiring bonus payable after 90 days of employment for LP’s and LCSW’s who will work in selected areas and commit to working at least 20 encounters per week. See the Location area above to see if the location is marked with “Bonus Eligible.” Bonus details will be provided and discussed with qualified applicants.
Continuing Education Bonus
Every therapist who works a minimum of 10 hours per week and maintains the professional standards established by the Clinical Director is eligible to participate in our paid CE program.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, LICENSING, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* For Licensed Psychologists (LP): Doctorate (PhD or PsyD) Degree in psychology
* For Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW): Master's degree in social work, or other related human services degree that qualifies for LCSW licensing
* For Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), Licensed Mental Health Therapists (LMHTs) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs): Master's degree in appropriate discipline, active state licensure in good standing and with current credentials with third-party commercial insurances
* Strong ability to be self-motivated and maintain mutually agreed upon client caseloads
* Must have valid Driver's license and a positive driving record
* We do not offer internships or “incident to” positions at this time.
* If you do not have one of the above license types in good standing in AZ or CO, we cannot offer you a position.
