Company Summary: Resilience Psychological Services (RPS) PLLC is a Black woman-owned and operated behavioral health and wellness practice based in Brooklyn, NY. We are committed to fostering a sacred, evidence-based space for adults to navigate life's challenges, enhance their resilience, and experience post-traumatic growth. Our practice takes pride in serving a diverse clientele, with a particular focus on supporting BIPOC, LGBT+, and individuals with alternative relationship orientations (non-monogamous). RPS offers a range of services including individual, couples, and group psychotherapy, as well as coaching, consulting, supervision, and training. We are currently seeking a part-time therapist to join our virtual practice and contribute to our mission of promoting healing and empowerment.

Job Description: As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with RPS, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality mental health services to our clients. This fully remote contract position requires a compassionate, skilled, and self-motivated professional who is comfortable working independently from home. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of 15-20 clients per week, providing supervision to junior staff or interns, and upholding the values and standards of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions in line with our practice's focus on resilience and post-traumatic growth.
• Maintain a caseload of 15-20 clients per week, offering therapy sessions tailored to the needs of our diverse clientele, including BIPOC, LGBT+, and those in non-monogamous relationships.
• Utilize your supervisory experience to mentor and guide less experienced Social Workers or interns within the practice.
• Document all clinical activities promptly and accurately in our electronic health record system, Simple Practice.
• Collaborate with the RPS team and external healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas relevant to our practice's specialties.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and maintain the highest ethical standards in all clinical work.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW license in New York State.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience, with supervisory experience highly preferred.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records; experience with Simple Practice is a plus.
• Must have a personal laptop and reliable internet connection for remote work.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• A commitment to cultural humility and the ability to work with a diverse client population.
• Dedication to client confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to normal risks of working in an office environment (e.g., risks due to heavy computer use). Most of this position is in a remote work environment.
