Form of workWe're hiring at our locally owned and operated Ellie Mental Health in the Summerville area. We are seeking Licensed Clinical Counselors to join our team at our clinic near Trident Medical Center. Founded on the principle of destigmatizing mental health, our vision is to improve and expand access to quality care. Our office offers a team environment of authentic, caring, and energetic clinicians. As a supportive team, we encourage counselors in self-care and developing a fulfilling career based on their goals. This position offers full-time opportunities. Workdays and hours are flexible 7 days a week while offering a hybrid of telehealth and in-person services. Benefits include 2 hours of dictation weekly, 2 weeks PTO, 10 holidays, CEU stipend, paid licensure renewal, and alternating bi-weekly staff meetings and supervision (paid). Blue Cross Blue Shield Group Health Insurance will be available at the beginning of 2024. Pay is a combination of salary and commission, and influenced by licensure and experience, but generally ranges from, $60,000 to $80,000 per year.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Candidates should have unrestricted clinical licensure or be in the process of earning licensure (LMFT, LPC, LISW-CP, etc.);
- Experience with completing assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes;
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; and
- Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.

Many mental health and wellness-focused companies are non-profits or government agencies, which rely on the general public, grants, or large donors for funding. This model often results in little creativity and lower compensation for employees, promoting a work culture that just makes people feel "blah."
