Job Description
Coping & Healing Counseling (CHC) offers the ability to work from anywhere by providing telehealth services to our clients. You have the ability to manage your own schedule. We handle all other aspects of the practice, including client onboarding and billing. Each provider has full administrative support. As a contractor or employee, you will be part of a unique professional family where clinical quality and work-life balance are important priorities.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide therapy to children, adolescents, adults and families. Essential duties include:
- Appropriate therapeutic techniques and family therapy, including parent education.
- Community and client education and prevention services.
- Crisis intervention.
- Formulating diagnosis and developing treatment plans.
- Documenting all services provided
- Individual and group therapy with adolescents, adults, and families presenting with a variety of issues, both situational and psychological
- Family therapy and parent education.
- Couples and Marriage Therapy
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
- Familiarity with community mental health resources
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong leadership qualities
License/Certification: Not Required
