Licensed Alcohol And Drug Counselor (Ladc)

Hennepin Home Health Care is seeking a full-time Licensed Alcohol And Drug Counselor (LADC) to join our team under our new SUD programming, Recovery Health Solutions! As a home care provider for 50 years, offering home health and mental health services, we are adding SUD services to provide dual support our community members.

You will be responsible for conducting assessments, implementing effective treatment plans to clients in an individual or group setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments
• Develop and implement individual treatment plans
• Establish treatment goals and milestones with clients
• Conduct Individual and Group Counseling sessions
• Educate families and groups on substance abuse treatments and prevention programs
• Supervision of Peer Recovery Specialists

Qualifications:

• Active LADC in Minnesota
• Previous experience in drug and alcohol counseling
• Able to pass a DHS licensed background study
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with diverse group of clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literacy, able to navigate and use EMR system
