Turner Industries Group, LLC is looking for a License Specialist to join our team in the Baton Rouge, LA area. The License Specialist will be responsible for performing licensing and permitting work, receiving and reviewing license and permit applications; ensuring compliance with applicable policies, administrative codes, and statutes.
Functional Requirements:
- Receives license and permit applications, revisions and renewals and reviews those and related documents to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations, policies and guidelines.
- Inputs license and permit applications, payments, and required technical data for licenses and permits into appropriate computer applications, databases, and systems.
- Maintains records associated with license and permit applications, fee payments, and violations.
- Provides administrative and technical assistance related to license and permit requirements to external and internal customers.
- Research license requirements in new jurisdictions.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
Qualification Standards:
- Experience in customer service, clerical, administrative, or technical support work.
- Graduation from a two-year college or equivalent is generally preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Excel and Adobe. Familiarity with Google Docs and Google Sheets is a plus.
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
- Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace.

May be required to do the following: reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials; standing / sitting; walking; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; typing / data entry; sitting and computer work for extended time
