In the librarian role (75%), in conjunction with other professional librarians, provides reference services and information literacy instruction. Participates in department assessment activities, collection development and outreach activities. - Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited school, or closely related field; Coursework or certification in archives management, digital librarianship, or special collections.
- Three (3) years’ experience and/or training that includes library operations, reference service, bibliographic instruction, circulation service, copy cataloging, and library information systems, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Excellent written, oral and presentation skills;
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff and student body.
- Experience with assessment;
- Teaching or training experience;
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
