Legal Secretary.

Responsibilities:
Proficient operation of office technology, including computers, software, email, copiers, scanners, and dictation equipment.
Drafting and typing of various legal documents, memoranda, and correspondence.
Managing incoming and outgoing phone calls, recording messages, and directing inquiries as needed.
Preparation and organization of materials for meetings, court appearances, and hearings.
Welcoming clients and visitors while maintaining confidentiality and upholding the attorney-client relationship.
Assisting with overflow tasks such as typing, filing, photocopying, and reception duties upon request.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail in proofreading for grammatical, typographical, and formatting errors.
Basic arithmetic skills for verifying calculations on documents.
Accurate and timely transcription of legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration with clients, attorneys, and staff.
Flexibility to occasionally work beyond standard hours, as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
Qualifications:
College degree in a legal field, or currently enrolled in such a program
Proficiency in operating personal computers and other office equipment necessary for the role.
Ability to effectively convey information, explain procedures, and follow instructions with clarity.
