SalaryWe have an immediate opening for an experienced full-time Legal Scheduler for our insurance defense team. This role acts as a key support resource to the attorneys and paralegals, providing critical support functions including administration, caseload management, and scheduling. The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role requires the candidate to be in the office 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
Compensation:$20 - $22 hourly
Responsibilities:- Set hearings and ensure compliance with scheduling requirements
- Coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials with attorneys and opposing counsel
- Retain Court Reporters
- Communicate with opposing counsel and JA’s
- Prepare notices
- Communicate and schedule with expert witness
- Review calendar for conflicts
- E-filing
- Demonstrated ability to work with deadlines
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
