Job Description:Your main responsibilities include: Work on-site as a member of the TSMC AZ Legal Department providing general corporate and commercial legal services to assist in achieving business goals while minimizing undue risk. Provide creative and cost-effective support and advice to in-house clients in operations, facilities, EHS, supply chain, finance, and human resources team. Work involves a wide variety of areas including corporate policies and standard operating procedures; commercial contract drafting and negotiation; intellectual property and trade secret protection; export, privacy, and other regulatory compliance; dispute resolution; investigations and corporate compliance matters.
Requirements:
Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States and have:
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, along with the ability to listen and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to provide legal services to a variety of different departments
- Ability to establish trust and maintain strong working relationships
- Ability to share workload with other members of the Legal Department
- Must have a law degree from a recognized university
- Must be admitted to a recognized bar
- Must be permitted to work in the United States
- 4 to 7 years of relevant experience gained in a law firm and/or in-house position with demonstrated ability to perform the following responsibilities:
- Working in a large, highly matrixed and dispersed decision-making environment
- Advising all levels of management on the legal risks and liabilities relevant to various business activities
- Researching and anticipating unique legal issues that could impact the company
- Negotiating, writing and facilitating internal stakeholder approvals on a wide variety of agreements
- Developing policies
- Providing training
