Legal Contracts Summer Intern

Caribou Biosciences is a leading clinical-stage CRISPR genome-editing biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing transformative therapies for patients with devastating diseases. We are seeking an intern to join our Contracts Group. In this newly added role, you will shadow a Senior Contracts Attorney and learn contract types, issues, and processes generally applicable to biotech companies.
Responsibilities include:

• Contract drafting
• Legal research of contractual issues
• Creation of a contract playbook and clause library

Qualifications:

• J.D. candidate
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication skills

Nice-to-haves:

• B.S. degree in a life science

Caribou compensation and benefits include:

• Stipend: $4,500 - $5,500, monthly (DOE)
