Chain | Cohn | Clark has an immediate opening for a full-time Legal Calendar Clerk position (8am - 5pm, no weekends), assisting paralegals, attorneys and other staff with document management, legal filing, and phone and client communication.
Other job duties include include electronic court filing, data entry, preparation of legal documents, follow up on pending matters, and Legal Calendaring. Must be able to work independently with little supervision. Must be a quick learner. Must be proficient in e-mail and data entry.
Candidates must be highly organized and detail oriented, with a professional presentation and personality. The law firm seeks someone with a very strong work ethic, who is punctual and reliable, able to manage a busy schedule, and multitask effectively.
Experience with Microsoft Office, email, and high school diploma (or equivalent) are required. Experience with the personal injury on the plaintiff or defense side is a plus, but not required. Extra consideration given to candidates who are bilingual in Spanish. Salary is dependent on experience, with the law firm offering an excellent benefits package, and an opportunity to grow.
