Job Description
The responsibilities of this position will include but not be limited to:
• Daily support of the attorneys’ practices;
• Assist with and manage incoming telephone calls;
• Draft documents and correspondence;
• Digital and physical filing;
• Prepare, scan and organize documents;
• Request and manage requests for medical records and other case related records;
• Schedule depositions and occasionally other matters;
• E-File motions and other pleadings in state and federal courts;
• File maintenance and organization;
• Organize discovery and other case materials;
• Maintain and update calendars;
• Communicate with clients and vendors; and
• Coordinate with other staff to accomplish shared tasks.
- Competent computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems
- Deep understanding of Legal Assistant
- Administrative law experience desired
- Command of Specialized Clerical
- At least 1+ years of Administrative Assistant experience, preferably in a legal environment- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well
