Under supervision of counsel, and in collaboration with other department staff, assist with day-to-day administration of the company's litigation portfolio. Responsibilities will be broad, touching on many facets of the litigation life cycle, and entail supporting internal and external counsel. This is a hybrid remote position located at Goodleap's Bentonville, Arkansas office, with the possibility of rare travel. This will be considered a full-time position, generally Monday through Friday. Infrequent evening, weekend, and overtime work may be required as job duties demand.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Managing and organization of company lawsuit portfolio, including administering case tracking systems and management database
  • Assist in-house attorneys and outside counsel with various litigation administration tasks
  • Support Legal operation improvements through participation in various project management administrative roles
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
  • Highly proficient computer skills, including Excel, Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Professional and database management software
  • Ability to prepare and edit various correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, presentations, graphic elements such as charts using Microsoft Office software; Excel, Litigation Management Software, and maintain associated files
  • Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  • Exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and efficient
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
