JOB SUMMARY/ DESCRIPTION
The Osceola County Clerk of Circuit Court & County Comptroller is looking to hire a highly motivated individual willing to grow and develop within a fast-paced environment driven by a culture of service. We are seeking individuals with the ability to perform a wide range of legal administrative functions, including office data entry, mail services, record services retention center, tax deeds, and bond processing, all within the context of our Legal Administration Department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs data entry in the case management system.
- Receives, prepares, processes, reports and maintains records.
- Manages and safeguards all types of evidence in the court system.
- Provides customer service.
- Works in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, including meeting commitments and deadlines.
- Establishes and maintains highly effective working relationships with all levels, both internally and externally.
- Must be available to work over-time if needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM.
- Public speaking
- Computer skills and knowledge of software applications.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills, to resolve highly confidential and sensitive matters.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment, including meeting commitments and deadlines.
- Knowledge of current federal, state, and local laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Bilingual preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
- Must possess valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sitting for long periods of time
- Talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motion
- Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs
