Job Summary
The Department of Curriculum, Supervision, and Educational Leadership at CWU is accepting applications to fill future full-time and part-time lecturer positions to teach classes in education in Washington State. This department serves students with the foundations classes for teacher certification.
The ideal candidate is an individual who enjoys working in a department that values student learning, scholarship and service to the department, college, university, community and profession. This pool is for courses offered at our main campus and centers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in education or a related field.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching education courses.
Pay & Work Schedule
Pay: Based on the terms and conditions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement
The minimum remuneration for the non-tenure-track titles for the 2023-2024 academic year will be:
(a) Lecturer: $1,154 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $922 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees.
(b) Senior Lecturer: $1,269 per workload unit for faculty with terminal degrees; $1,013 per workload unit for faculty without terminal degrees.

Additional Information: This announcement will be used to develop a pool of applicants for positions in the department of Curriculum, Supervision, and Educational Leadership through March 2024. There is a possibility that selected applicants may be called on short notice to fill lecturer vacancies on a quarter-by-quarter basis.
Screening of applications begins immediately and will continue as needed. The number of lecturer positions filled varies from quarter to quarter, depending upon the needs of the department. Positions typically start at the beginning of an academic quarter. Your application will be maintained in this pool for consideration through March 2024.
