Description:
The Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice invites applications for a full-time lecturer position beginning 15 August 2024. This position is for on-campus, in-person teaching. We seek applicants with experience teaching Criminal Justice. The successful candidate will be able to offer introductory and upper-division courses in the Criminal Justice curriculum.
The position will be appointed with a one-year contract, renewable annually, and with promotion to Senior Lecturer and Principal Lecturer possible. Primary duties include teaching up to four courses, or equivalent, per semester and actively contributing to the undergraduate teaching mission of the department.

The Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice is a member of the College of Behavioral, Social and Health Sciences and is home to 25 faculty members across the three represented disciplines. Successful candidates will integrate and complement existing strengths in our program and contribute to the interdisciplinary focus of the department.

Qualifications:
Applicants must have a master’s degree in Criminal Justice, criminology, or a closely related field with a Ph.D. preferred.
