Primary Objective:
Consider joining Wilbur Wright College Continuing Education Department as a Part-Time Fitness Instructor. You will have the opportunity to inspire, motivate, and empower others to succeed. Wright College’s Continuing Education Department has an exciting opportunity for an engaging, energetic and patient instructor to teach fitness classes, such as Zumba, Nia, aerobics, yoga, barre, or strength training. The Fitness Instructor will develop and implement appropriate and engaging activities by taking into consideration the unique abilities of each participant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop weekly sessions that teach fitness safely and allow students to grow their fitness skill and knowledge.
- Ability to teach using different methods to meet students’ needs and abilities.
- Inspire, motivate and empower students through movement.
- Adhere to the City Colleges of Chicago code of ethics, board rule, policies and procedures.

- High School Diploma or equivalent, certification in the appropriate discipline and valid CPR card required.
- One-year teaching and/or training experience in appropriate discipline preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse group of students and staff.Inspire, motivate and foster confidence in all students.
