Leather Worker Apprentice

We are looking for a motivated, driven individual who enjoys working with their hands. Position includes cutting out parts using a clicker die, assembling leather products, stamping leather with embossing stamps, and many more minuscule tasks using hammers, punches, knives, and other hand tools. Use of a sewing machine, cutting press, and other equipment will be expected from an individual once properly trained. The position often requires lifting and moving rolls of leather that are 80+ pounds. We do not require experience but applicants should have knowledge of how to use basic hand tools and have good problem-solving ability.

$16 - $20 hourly

• Cut leather parts with a clicker die
• Assemble leather products using a variety of rivets and fasteners
• Stamp leather with embossing stamps
• Complete weekly inventory logs
• Prep leather products for production
• General help around the shop

• Must be 18 or older
• Must be able to lift and move leather and boxes weighing 80+ LBS daily
• Must be comfortable working with your hands
• Must be willing to learn
• Must be a team player
