Leasing Consultant

Duties:

• Greet and assist prospective residents in touring the property and showcasing available units
• Provide detailed information about the property, amenities, and leasing terms
• Conduct background checks and verify rental history of potential tenants
• Prepare and execute lease agreements, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately
• Collect and process rental payments from residents
• Address resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting unit inspections
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and resident interactions
• Create and maintain marketing presence on various platforms
• Suggest and implement innovative ways to market properties
• Effectively lease units between multiple properties

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in leasing or customer service role
• Strong knowledge of leasing procedures, contracts, and property management practices
• Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills to effectively close leases
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in data entry and record keeping
• Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Employee will need to be comfortable working a rotating schedule between two different apartment communities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
