About the role:

As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to prospective residents, managing the leasing process from start to finish, and maintaining a high level of occupancy in your assigned property. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a burning desire to make a real difference in people's lives and a commitment to anticipate and exceed the expectations of our residents.
What you'll do:
The salary range for the position is $19-25 an hr. In addition, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. What you'll do:
- Manage the prospect pipeline of future residents from first contact
- Maintain detailed records of where each prospect is in the application process
- Provide tours of the apartment community and present features and amenities to prospective residents
- Internalize detailed information about the property
- Manage incoming prospect information and ensure speedy responses to all inquiries
- Oversee the marketing and advertising of vacancies
- Plan and implement creative and effective marketing strategies to drive interest in living at the apartment complex
- Network and create relationships with local Apartment Locator services, real estate agents, and other potential lead generating connections
- Oversee the processing and approval of resident applications and lease documents
- Conduct market surveys of the properties to obtain information on competing lease rates and other trends that affect occupancy/rent
- Support with other property operations as needed
- Previous customer service experience is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and develop relationships quickly
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Desire and ability to work in diverse communities and to build relationships across lines of differences
- Bilingual - Spanish speaking preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Requires the ability to read, speak and understand work instructions and safety notices in English
- Valid driver's license in good standing
