SDK Village Green Apartments is seeking a professional, full-time, leasing professional to join our motivated team. If you are outgoing, bubbly, friendly, and have a positive, can-do attitude, we want to hear from you! Weekend availability and schedule flexibility are required.
- Interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy, including generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing leases, and completing move-in paperwork and procedures.
- Performs all of the above by applicable laws and company policies.
- Assist with the company’s ongoing relationship with the residents throughout their tenancy.
- Maintains accurate, in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the community, particularly in: rent and pricing info, vacancies, apartment availability, lease expirations, square footage, etc.
- Accurately prepares and assists with all leasing paperwork (lease applications, lease agreements, employment and credit checks, lease move-in packets)
The successful candidate must have strong sales and organizational abilities, follow-up skills, and an attention to detail that often makes a difference with prospective and current residents. Must be able to multi-task and adapt to changing schedules that will include weekends—apartment leasing experience not required with a strong sales background.
We are seeking an individual who has:
- Excellent presentation
- Adaptable to changing work schedules, including working weekends and some holidays
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work independently and with a team
- Upbeat, positive, outgoing, and the ability to relate to others
- Articulate and great phone voice Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use general office equipment, including phones, fax machines, printers, copier, Onesite, and Lead2Lease software is preferred but not required
