Leasing Associate

SDK Millbridge Gardens is seeking an experienced strong full time Leasing Associate. Must have apartment leasing experience and be able to work weekends. This is a permanent position and will start immediately. Must have thorough knowledge of fair housing practices and a track record of strong sales, closings and tenant relations. The ideal candidate must be outgoing, bubbly, friendly and love to work with residents and potential residents.

• Interacts directly with prospective and current residents to achieve maximum occupancy, including generating and handling traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing leases and completing move-in paperwork and procedures.
• Performs all of the above in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
• Assist with the company’s on-going relationship with the resident’s throughout their tenancy.
• Maintains accurate, in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the community, particularly in: rent and pricing info, vacancies, apartment availability, lease expiration, square footage, etc.
• Accurately prepares and assists with all leasing paperwork (lease applications, lease agreements, employment and credit checks, lease move-in packets)

The successful candidate must have strong sales and organizational abilities, follow-up skills, and an attention to detail that often makes the difference with prospective and current residents. Must be able to multi-task and adapt to changing schedules that will include weekends. APARTMENT LEASING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

We are seeking an individual who has:

• Excellent presentation
• Adaptable to changing work schedule, including working weekends and some holidays
• Must be willing to travel to other properties, on a temporary coverage basis.
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work independently and with a team
• Upbeat, positive, outgoing and ability to relate to others
• Articulate and great phone voice
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use general office equipment, including phones, fax machines, printer, copier
• Onesite and Lead2Lease software is preferred but not required

Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Saturday: 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Criminal Background, Credit check and Drug Tests are required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
