Customer Support Specialist

SUMMARY:

URGENTLY HIRING

Under the direction of the On-Site Community Manager, this position supports leasing activities of your assigned community.

This position is primarily responsible for effectively managing and coordinating leasing/maintenance activities to maximize the successful operation of the property you are assigned. This role requires a problem solving and customer-centric approach to deliver an exceptional experience for current and prospective residents, and owners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meets and exceeds weekly revenue/leasing goals
  • Addresses resident submitted maintenance requests and unit turnovers timely
  • Presents portfolio of properties to prospective residents through property and unit tours including amenities, model units and/or other alternative floorplans, where applicable.
  • Participates in the development of marketing collateral under the direction and approval of the Portfolio Manager.
  • Participates in the marketing of properties through outreach marketing to specific markets identified by the Portfolio Manager, as needed.
  • Ensures most current, relevant information about the community is provided to prospective customers through monitoring and updating online and print advertisements and postings daily
  • Manages life cycle of relationship of all leads through first contact to move-in continuing through to the renewal process (including, but not limited to, responding to guest cards, processing rental applications, generating leases, conducting move-ins/-outs, etc.)
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of Fair Housing laws.
  • Completes additional ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Portfolio Manager or Managing Director.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Bi-lingual preferred but not required.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Accounting software; Human Resource systems; Internet software; Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
