Leasing Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Associate. As a Leasing Associate, you will play a crucial role in assisting prospective tenants with finding their ideal rental property. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Duties:
- Conduct property tours for potential tenants, showcasing the features and amenities of available units
- Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, or in-person
- Assist with the application process, including collecting necessary documentation and conducting background checks
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately
- Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and documenting any damages
- Address tenant concerns or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction
- Collaborate with property management team to ensure efficient operations and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Utilize property management software (e.g.,Yardi) to maintain accurate records of tenant information, leases, and payments.

- Marketing and Outreach to local businesses.

Experience:
- Previous experience in property leasing or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of Section 8 housing programs is a plus
- Familiarity with facilities management and office administration tasks
- Strong conflict management skills to handle tenant disputes or difficult situations
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications for data entry and record keeping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
