Lease Security Specialist

Job Summary
A Lease Security Specialist is responsible for reviewing reports, resolving and implementing all Lease Security Department functions. Researches and resolves issues which requires knowledge regarding all Lease Security functions. Interacts with branch personnel regarding all Lease Security transactions on the bank's host systems, as related to department-specific tasks and escalated items requiring resolution.
Pay Range: $16.31 - $22.87 - $29.44
Job Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Capable of performing all general transaction functions of a Lease Security Processor, including file maintenance responsibilities.
- Completes all applicable Lease Security internal logs for monitoring New Accounts, Bank Fees, Bank Checks, Mail Received, Dormant Account Activation forms, and all other logs associated with the department as needed.
- Accesses Onbase, E-Vision (Image Archive), Net Image, Microfiche/Microfilm and/or any other bank-related research program(s) to retrieve historical documentation in order to respond to customer service issues which have been escalated by processors for resolution.
- Responsible for compilation and review of historical bank account documentation, including review of department specific general ledger proofs, statements, trial balances, 1099 data, etc.
- Monitors account information in MISER (BI) and/or Onbase to create reports for Lease Security building close out as well as branch processing errors and other statistical information.
- Responsible for reviewing Lease Security unit staff reports of all transaction detail and additional workflow output including customer service call response, page counts, etc. for management review and reporting when requested by Lease Security Management.
- Reconciles all general ledgers for Lease Security as assigned by department management.
- Updates TRS with all applicable customer notes when necessary.
- Processes Altin Files through MISER host system and coordinates testing of files with department management.
- Responsible for the completion of all User Acceptance host system testing due to MISER upgrades or related to open projects including system conversions as assigned by department management.
- Performs special projects and additional duties and responsibilities as required.
- Where applicable and when performing the responsibilities of the job, employees are accountable to maintain Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and adhere to internal control policies and procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree or higher preferred
- Minimum of five to seven years banking experience including general banking, Teller and platform experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Advanced experience using Bank Host Systems (such as Onbase, MISER and E-Vision)
- Basic accounting knowledge including ability to reconcile general ledger accounts
- Strong customer service, verbal and written communication skills to successfully resolve phone, mail and email inquiries
