Seeking a Lease Cancellations and Collections Specialist to work at our corporate office located at 1390 Newtown Pike, Lexington, KY 40511. The Lease Cancellations and Collections Specialist is responsible for all aspects of a resident’s account after move-out.
Essential Functions:
- Processes tenants move out packets for all move-outs and transfers.
- Sends detailed account statements for move-out balance or refunds.
- Sends unpaid accounts to collection agency, NCS.
- Keeps records of all activity with NCS.
- Keeps records of payment and Collections.
- Tracks, approves, and processes all deposit refunds.
- Corresponds with prior tenants regarding balances or deposit refunds.
- Makes necessary revisions to final account statements as requested by property supervisors.
- Completes month-end procedures and bills rent for properties.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Understanding of financial reports and ledgers, comfort with numbers, interpersonal skills, conflict management, multi-tasking.
- Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, OneSite preferred, RentRoll preferred.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
