The Learning & Development Analyst primarily supports the successful launch and sustainment of the Poka tool to the Plants and supporting functions at Ventura Foods. Poka is an application that manages the full life-cycle of learning including Onboarding, Training, Content Development, and, Skills Management. This role will provide Poka content development support to increase the sustainability of initiatives that impact the plants. This role will serve as a reporting analyst of Learning & Development programs. The analyst will research, analyze, and report on different trends enabling the L&D team to create a data-driven approach to employee training. This role will work cross-functionally with other departments, facilities, contractors, members of the L&D Team, and other Key Stakeholders as needed on Enterprise-Level projects and training rollouts.
- Data Analytics: Provide exceptional customer guidance in the areas of application support, data analysis, data analytics, retrieval, and self-serve as well as ad-hoc reporting.
- SME: Proficiency with Poka system implementations, configuration and ongoing administration
- Poka Training & Communication: Guide system-based activities including user adoption, training, and organizational communications.
- Customer Service: Act as the single point of business support for users in Poka.
- Change Management: Support the Change Management process for new or updated Poka Standards.
- Collaborate with Business partners, L&D leadership and Poka Vendor to define key business processes and system functionality to support business needs.
- QA: Conduct Quality checks on content created in Poka. Increase sustainability by ensuring required content is administered as required.
- Content Management: ensure content is stored and shared appropriately to facilitate ease of use.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Administration, IT, or related field
- Experience with a LMS platform as a heavy end user, technical owner, implementer, or system administrator
- Experience with Technical Writing
- Skilled in Data Analytics
- Skilled in creating and presenting Data
- Experience with system Administration
- Excel in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and follow through with assigned responsibilities
- Work independently, think strategically, and problem solve
- Demonstrate strong initiative and customer service
- Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and possess the ability to work in a rapidly-changing environment.
- Must possess functional capability in project management and related tools (Asana, Microsoft Project, Visio, etc.).
- Must be skilled in facilitating meetings and/or learning events in face-to-face and/or virtual environments. Knowledge of various facilitation methods and techniques is a must.
- Must be able to work cross-functionally with other departments, facilities, contractors, members of the L&D Team, and other Key Stakeholders.
- Must possess a functional knowledge of various communication technologies and their applications (video conferencing, web-conferencing, audience response systems, presentation software, etc.).

- Salary Base Range of $74,000 – $88,000 for Employees Located in California*
*The “base salary range” provided above is a good faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The range provided is for California-based employees as Ventura Foods is required by California State Law to post pay rates. Ventura Foods reserves the right to pay outside of the given range based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: candidate skills and experience, complexity of the job, budgetary factors, and location/geography. Ventura Foods conducts regular reviews of compensation ranges and therefore reserves the right to alter this range at any given time.
