About the role:
In the role of Learning & Development Specialist, your responsibilities will include guiding training initiatives for both new and current team members within the contact center. Collaboration with Operations Leadership is essential to formulate effective learning strategies that enhance workplace performance and contribute to the achievement of business objectives. This role reports to the Lead Learning & Development Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Educate new employees on product details and essential professional skills to enhance customer satisfaction
- Act as the authority on all operational products, processes, and procedures within each functional domain
- Lead training sessions for both transitional and ongoing education requirements
- Collaborate with the Instructional Designer to develop comprehensive training materials
- Recognize and integrate enhancements to existing training programs, while also proposing optimal training approaches
- Effectively engage with key stakeholders to pinpoint performance gaps and assess training requirements
Requirements:
- 2 or more years of previous professional training and/or talent development experience in a high demand, high output role with a proven record of success and accomplishment
- Ability to evaluate a learner's learning style and identify development needs
- Experience in a remote and in person learning development environment
- Experience working with on-line and web-based learning development, delivery, and learning management tools. (e.g. Google Meets, Adobe Connect, Web-Ex, etc)
- Demonstrating excellent organizational and project management skills, strong communication, and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, while effectively prioritizing tasks to meet internal deadlines
